📦 Ordering & Turnaround

What is your current turnaround time?

Our standard production turnaround time is 2–3 business days from the time your order is placed and approved for printing. Business days do not include weekends or holidays.

Need your order sooner? We offer Rush Service at checkout for an additional fee. Orders selected with Rush Service are prioritized in our production queue.

Please note that shipping transit time is separate from production turnaround time.

Do you offer a rush printing service?

Yes, we offer Rush Service for customers who need their order sooner.

Orders up to $75.00 may add Rush Service for a flat fee of $20.00. Orders over $75.00 are charged a percentage-based rush fee, which is calculated at checkout.

Rush Service prioritizes your order in our production queue and targets a 24-hour turnaround time, excluding weekends and holidays. Shipping transit time is not included in turnaround time.

To add Rush Service, simply select the Rush option during checkout.

For large rush orders or time-sensitive projects, please call or text 281-215-3272 before placing your order to confirm availability.

Can I place an order without creating an account?

Yes! You can place an order as a guest without creating an account.

However, creating an account allows you to:

• View your order history
• Track current and past orders
• Save your contact information for faster checkout
• Manage your account information in one place

Creating an account is completely optional, and you'll still receive order confirmations and updates whether you check out as a guest or a registered customer.

How do I cancel my order?

Orders may only be canceled before production has begun.

Because we begin processing orders quickly, we recommend contacting us immediately if you need to cancel an order. Call or text 281-215-3272 or email sales@getmytransfers.com as soon as possible.

Once an order has entered production, it cannot be canceled.

If an order is approved for cancellation before production begins, a 15% processing fee may apply to cover payment processing, artwork preparation, and administrative costs.

Approved cancellations are issued as store credit only. Refunds are not available for custom printed products.

How much is shipping?

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the products ordered, package weight, destination, and shipping method selected. You'll be able to view all available shipping options and costs before completing your purchase.

Can I track my order?

Yes! Once your order ships, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information. You can also check your order status at any time using our Order Status page.

Do you offer local pickup?

Yes! We offer free local pickup at both of our locations:

🎨 Artwork & File Requirements

Artwork Requirements

For the best print quality, please upload artwork that meets the following requirements:

• PNG files with transparent backgrounds are preferred
• Artwork should be sized to the desired print dimensions whenever possible
• Resolution should be 300 DPI for best results
• Text should be converted to outlines or rasterized before uploading
• Remove any unwanted backgrounds before submitting artwork
• Ensure all elements are high quality and not pixelated

Artwork submitted as low-resolution images may print blurry or pixelated. We print files as received and cannot guarantee quality improvements to customer-supplied artwork.

Can you create my artwork?

We do not create or edit artwork in-house.

If your artwork requires design work, vector conversion, background removal, or other modifications, artwork services are available through a third-party provider for an additional fee.

To request an artwork quote, please complete our Artwork Quote Form and provide as much information as possible about your project.

Color Information

DTF transfers are printed using CMYK inks. Because computer monitors, phones, tablets, and printers display color differently, printed colors may vary slightly from what you see on your screen.

For the most accurate results:

• Use high-quality artwork files
• Provide specific color values when color matching is critical
• Avoid screenshots whenever possible
• Understand that neon, fluorescent, and certain highly saturated colors may not reproduce exactly in print

Minor color variations are considered normal and are not considered defects.

Background Removal Sites

Need to remove a background before uploading your artwork? Here are a few popular options:

• Canva Background Remover
• PhotoRoom

Please review your artwork carefully after removing backgrounds. Automated tools may miss small details, shadows, or transparent areas that could affect the final print.

Why Do My Printed Colors Look Different From My Screen?

Screens display color using RGB light, while DTF printers use CMYK inks. Because these color systems are different, some colors may appear slightly different when printed.

Other factors that affect color appearance include:

• Monitor and phone screen settings
• Brightness and contrast settings
• Artwork quality and resolution
• Material and printing process

While we strive to produce vibrant, accurate prints, exact color matching cannot be guaranteed unless a specific color matching service has been arranged in advance.

What File Types Do You Accept?

We accept the following file formats:

• PNG (preferred)
• PDF (Banners Only)

PNG files with transparent backgrounds at 300 DPI typically provide the best results for DTF printing.

We do not recommend submitting screenshots, low-resolution images, or photos of artwork, as these may result in poor print quality.

🔥 DTF & Application

How do I apply DTF transfers?

Applying DTF transfers is simple with a heat press.

  1. Pre-press the garment for 5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.

  2. Position the transfer (white side down) on the garment.

  3. Press at 300° at medium/firm pressure for 10 seconds.

  4. Allow the transfer to cool completely before peeling the film.

  5. Peel the film slowly and smoothly.

  6. Cover with parchment paper, butcher paper, or a finishing sheet and repress for 5 seconds.

Always test application settings before running large production jobs.

What temperature should I press at?

For best results, we recommend:

• Temperature: 280°F - 300°F, depending on the garment 
• Time: 10 seconds (1st Press); 5 seconds (2nd Press)
• Pressure: Medium to firm

Application settings may vary depending on your heat press, garment, and transfer type. Always perform a test press before production.

What fabrics work best with DTF?

DTF transfers work on a wide variety of fabrics, including:

• 100% Cotton
• 100% Polyester
• Cotton/Poly Blends
• Tri-Blends
• Canvas
• Many performance fabrics

DTF is one of the most versatile decorating methods available and can be applied to both light and dark garments.

Do you offer UV DTF transfers?

Yes! We offer custom UV DTF transfers, also known as UV DTF decals.

UV DTF transfers can be applied to many hard surfaces, including tumblers, cups, glass, acrylic, wood, metal, plastic, and more. No heat press is required—simply peel, apply, and enjoy.

Custom UV DTF transfers can be ordered directly through our website.

Do you offer sublimation transfers?

Yes! We offer custom sublimation transfers for customers who create their own sublimated products.

Sublimation works best on white or light-colored polyester garments and polyester-coated hard goods. Sublimation does not print white ink and is not recommended for dark-colored materials.

Do you offer banners?

Yes! We offer custom banners for businesses, events, schools, sports teams, fundraisers, and more.

For best results, banner artwork should be provided as a high-resolution PDF file sized to the final print dimensions whenever possible.

Do you offer adhesive vinyl and HTV?

Yes! We carry a variety of adhesive vinyl and heat transfer vinyl (HTV), including specialty and patterned options.

Whether you're creating decals, signs, shirts, or craft projects, we offer materials for both hobbyists and businesses. Product availability may vary, so contact us if you're looking for a specific brand, color, or finish.

↩️ Returns & Reprints

Can I return or exchange an item?

Due to the custom nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds on custom printed items.

If a return or replacement is approved, compensation will be issued as store credit only. Store credit has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Please review your artwork, sizing, quantities, and order details carefully before submitting your order.

My order has arrived damaged or incorrect.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

To help us resolve the issue quickly, please provide:
• Your order number
• Photos of the product
• Photos of the packaging (if damaged)
• A brief description of the issue

Once reviewed, we will determine the appropriate resolution, which may include a replacement or reprint.

What if there is a print quality issue?

We stand behind the quality of our products. If you believe there is a manufacturing or print quality issue with your order, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.

Please include:
• Your order number
• Clear photos of the issue
• A description of the problem

Print quality concerns caused by low-resolution artwork, incorrect file setup, transparency issues, or customer-supplied artwork are not considered manufacturing defects and may not qualify for replacement.

Do you offer reprints?

Yes. If an error is determined to be the result of a production or manufacturing issue on our part, we will reprint the affected items at no additional charge.

Reprints are not available for issues caused by customer-supplied artwork, incorrect file setup, spelling errors in submitted designs, application errors, or changes requested after an order has been submitted.

If you believe your order qualifies for a reprint, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number for review.

Approved claims are resolved through replacement, reprint, or store credit at our discretion. Refunds are not issued for custom printed products.
